The president of the Petroleum Technology Department at the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Fadhil Sarhan Kadhim, discussed with the representative of the Iraq branch of the IEEE International Foundation and the teaching staff at the University of Babylon, Prof. Dr. Sattar Badr Khan, ways of joint cooperation in the scientific and research fields. The meeting, which was attended by the deputies of the department’s presidency for scientific and administrative affairs, aimed at the importance of opening the horizons of joint scientific and academic cooperation, exchanging scientific, knowledge and research experiences, and discussing the holding of the 3rd International Conference on Petroleum Technology and Petrochemicals with global scientific support from the IEEE after obtaining the fundamental approvals from the presidency of the University of Technology in order to enhance the process of higher education in Iraq.
